Lift cylinder leaking oil |
Lift cylinder leaking from seals. |
Inspected truck for leak. Found mast lift cylinder leaking from top seal. Attempted to adjust gland nuts, cleaned off excess oil from lift cylinder and rechecked. Leak still persisted 1/8/20, returned to customer location, chained and blocked mast as needed to facilitate removal of lift cylinder. Installed spare lift cylinder in its place to minimize downtime. Took original cylinder to hydraulic shop (Wojanis) for repair. 1/30/2020, picked up repaired lift cylinder from hydraulic shop and returned to customer location. Placed repaired cylinder in parts cage to be used as the new spare cylinder. . _ |
