Warranty Policy
If warranty repairs are to be performed to a Hoist Companies product, you must contact Hoist Companies' service/warranty department using the Online Support link on our website www.hoistlift.com for a work order number and to submit a warranty claim. All work orders and warranty claims must be done online. For online support our office number is 800-367-5600 (office hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST).
Labor and Replacement Parts:
1) On approved warranty claims, Hoist will credit labor charges at a rate of 80% of your retail labor rate. Travel will be honored at a rate of 70% of your retail rate. One round trip travel time only. All claims must be submitted for payment in US dollars only!
2) All replacement parts will be provided by Hoist Companies unless otherwise authorized.
3) Replacement parts will be billed to the dealer at time of shipment. Upon return of the parts in question, if subsequent inspection finds them to be defective, credit will be issued at net price only. Hoist parts will not be reimbursed on your warranty invoice.
4) A "Return Goods Authorization" (RGA) number will be assigned when you request a work order online. You'll need to include this number on the packing list along with any parts you are returning for warranty consideration. RGA parts must be returned within 10 working days from the completion date of repair or return request.
5) All warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of the date service is completed. Parts being considered for warranty that are not manufactured by Hoist Companies have only a limited warranty period, and must be submitted immediately.
6) Freight, environmental, shop supplies and fluids are not covered unless authorized.
Filing Warranty Claims: (must be included with every submission)
1) Model and serial number of the truck.
2) Liftruck hour meter reading.
3) Date of failure.
4) Full description of work performed.
5) Labor hours spent on repair and those spent on travel.
6) Date repair completed.
7) Detailed list of outside materials and their cost.
8) Parts freight, fluids and miscellaneous charges will not be reimbursed.
9) The "CAUSAL PART" number is required on all warranty claims.
10) List only one failure per claim.
